Privacy policy

1. Who we are

PaidReady is operated by Elyntica Inc. (“Elyntica”, “we”). This policy covers the paidready.com website and the PaidReady application at app.paidready.com (together, the “Service”). For the records our customers upload about their workers we act as a service provider (processor) on the customer’s instructions; for website visitors and account holders we are the controller of the account information described below.

2. Information we collect

Account information — name, work email address, password (stored only as an Argon2id hash), organisation name, role, and sign-in metadata (time, IP address, browser user agent) used for security and the audit trail.

Customer records — information our customers enter or import to prepare certified payroll: projects, agencies, wage determinations, worker names and customer-chosen worker identifiers, classifications, hours, pay rates, fringe benefit and apprenticeship facts, deductions, gross and net pay, and signed WH-347 documents. PaidReady is designed not to store Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank details or identity documents, and rejects SSN-shaped values.

Early-access and contact enquiries — the details you give us in the request form or by email (name, email, company, role, payroll system, project count, states, message).

Technical information — server logs containing request paths, timestamps, status codes and IP addresses, retained for security and reliability. The marketing website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The application uses strictly necessary session cookies only.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service; to prepare the reports and findings you request; to send transactional email (invitations, verification, password reset, reminders you enable); to respond to enquiries; to comply with law; and to improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage measures. We do not sell personal information, do not use customer payroll data to train machine-learning models, and do not send marketing email without consent.

4. Who we share it with

Subprocessors that host and operate the Service: Microsoft Azure (cloud hosting, United States regions) and Postmark (transactional email). Each is bound by contract to protect the information and to use it only to provide their service to us. We disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, their workers or the public. If Elyntica is acquired, information may transfer to the successor under this policy.

5. Where it is stored and how long

Information is stored in the United States. Customer records are retained while the customer’s account is active. After cancellation we retain records for 90 days so you can return or export, then delete them from live systems; backups expire on their own schedule within a further 35 days. Audit and signing records that a customer relies on for legal retention remain available to export during that window. Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months.

6. Your choices and rights

Account holders can update their profile, change their password and export data from within the Service, or ask us at hello@paidready.com to access, correct, export or delete information. Workers whose information a customer entered should contact that customer, who controls the record; we will assist the customer. Residents of states with privacy laws (including California) may exercise rights under those laws through the same address. We do not discriminate for exercising them.

7. Security

Our security practices are described on the Security & data page. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes and contact
